Band: SNOOZER
Who: Alt outfit from Philly formed by brothers Mike and
Tom Kelly from Philly. Last year they launched their 3rd LP
Mid-Earth

Track: I DON’T WANT TO TALK TO YOU

This sonically two-faced roller coaster starts smoothly and funkadelic
until aggressive guitars take over and get in your face. Then the mood
swings process starts all over again. Somebody is grumpy here.

Band: SPORTS TEAM
Who: London-based group,

Track: MAYBE WHEN WE WERE 30
Single from their forthcoming 3rd LP

“One morning you look around, and all your friends are getting married, and you think,
maybe all I really want is to grow old, and get a dog, and write horrible things about Brooklyn Beckham on Facebook, and go on cruises, and have petty disputes with my neighbours about whether the council recycles cardboard.”

Gloriously affecting and steadily boogielicious
with musing duet vocals all over it until
sinewy guitars, slowly but surely, augment
the intensity of this witty mixed emotions
tune.

VIVE LA FÊTE Honors French Chansonnier CHRISTOPHE Who Passed Away Last Week

Clips that will have an impact on your eyes and your ears…

23 April 2020

Thanks to my musical mother I learned a lot about French singers who were genuine
stars and started their careers back in the sixties, like Johnny Halliday, Michel Polnareff, Jacques Dutronc and of course CHRISTOPHE who scored a series of top hits with ‘Les Marionettes‘ and ‘Aline‘ as his most famous ones.

A couple of months ago Belgian’s internationally recognized dance duo VIVE LA FÊTE worked together with the beloved French chansonnier to create a new version of LES MARIONETTES. Unfortunately, their dear, Italy born, friend passed away last week on
17 April at the age of 74. To honor Christophe with whom they had a strong bond the
band decided to release the tremendously fitting video clip they made for that classic humdinger. It’s a vintage Vive La Fête knockout and a whirling homage to a great artist.

Sensual Dance Extravaganza – Go Totally Bonkers With Swirling Duo VIVE LA FÊTE

Memorable live moments…

VIVE LA FÊTE, one of the best dance acts ever, hit the scene back in 1997. Danny Mommens (guitar, vocals) and Els Pynoo (vocals) made an instant impression with
their tremendously ecstatic electro extravaganza. Even the fashion world was enthralled with icon Karl Lagerfeld as one of their most famous fans. He invited the duo to play
at his shows in New York City and Paris. The band toured several times all over Europe
and performed also in Brazil and Mexico.

Here’s some sensual dance euphoria with Maquillage,
a striking disco banger their from 2003 album ‘Nuit Blanche’

Formidable! Fantastique! Fabuleux! Massive Party With VIVE LA FÊTE At Boomtown Festival in Belgium…

VIVE LA FÊTE – Boomtown Festival, Ghent, Belgium – 20 July 2018

If you’re looking to party like it’s 1999 all over again than Belgium‘s hot-blooded and experienced dance outfit VIVE LA FÊTE is the indisputable band to do the job the right way. Founders Danny Mommens and his wonderful wife Els Pynoo still know perfectly, after more than twenty years, how to transfer a desirous crowd to a sky-high level of exhilarated rapture. Pynoo sings, dances, pirouettes and seduces as if it was her final concert. Sensual, spellbinding and tremendously energetic, causing non-stop electrical elation among the exciting audience. Meanwhile, although the group’s musical language
is French, maestro Mommens directs his hypnotic-beats-loaded orchestra with ‘eins zwei drei vier’ shouts and produces himself electrifying guitar lines to pump up the dazzling decibels. Their smart set is a brisk mix of greatest hits and some new ones from their latest album ‘Destination Amour‘. Final result: 60 minutes of pure delirium, electronic
pop firework and sonic paradise. Formidable! Fantastique! Fabuleux! Here is a
booming idea of Vive La Fête‘s live power…

VIVE LA FÊTE – Belgian’s Coolest Dance Act Ever Back With Irresistibly Funky Disco Gem… ‘YOU CAN SLEEP IN MY BED’

‘You Can Sleep In My Bed’ by VIVE LA FÊTE

6

The Belgian Bonnie & Clyde of the international dance scene – Danny Mommens and
Els Pynoo – alias VIVE LA FÊTE entertain us and the greatest part of this planet now
for nearly twenty years. Their own designed Saturday Night Fever electricity was/is unique as they never cared about trends, etiquette, ‘good taste’ or flawless French grammar (their choice of language to sing) and yet, despite or just because of their weirdly cool ‘je m’en fous’ attitude, combined of course with a series of albums filled with punchy, inflammable and sexy dance crackers they pushed thousands and thousands of electro pop addicts to ecstatic rapture over the years, on record and on stage.

After their 2013 album the pair is now back with a quite surprising new English sung single YOU CAN SLEEP IN MY BED. After a bouncy piano intro you’re limbs get vitalized instantly with a catchy disco drive spiced with an irresistible funky touch, Els Pynoo’s unavoidable, sensual voice and some orchestra-ted arrangements in the back. New single, new style, new kitsch, new thrill, new vibe! Press the button and start la fête
