Band: LOST IN SOCIETY
Who: Rock squad from Ashbury ParkNJ, with key members Zach Moyle and
Nick Ruroede celebrating 20 years of playing music together. They have, so far,
3 albums on their résumé. Check them on Spotify.

New single: WAKE UP

Nick Ruroede (bassist): “I never listened to Pavement growing up and then at some point
my wife introduced me to Gold Soundz and I just would repeat Pavement all day long. This song came from that time period. It was the last song we worked on for the new batch of recordings and is by far my favorite from the bunch. I think Zach did a really good job lyrically of expressing what it’s like when your life doesn’t turn out the way you might have thought it would and coming to terms with that.”

TUTV: Think Blink-182 and Green Day turning their amps up to the max.

Loud and proud, right? You betcha. Greedy guitars fly all over the place, the drummer pushes the impetuous pace with a salvo of hit-and-run whacks and the singer lets his pipes of steel do the vociferous work. Riff-roaring racket all the way. And if the buzzy chorus doesn’t wake up your neighbours, I don’t know what will.

Who: A fresh new band from the Berlin underground.
Formed in a Berlin basement in 2020 by Nico Rosch, Vik
Chi and Crayon Jones, Lobsterbomb makes raw, energetic
and danceable indie garage rock.

Single: WAKE UP

About: “It’s is a song about overcoming the frustrations of being
trapped in a monotonous and unfulfilling routine and overcoming
the pressures society places on us to live our lives in a certain way.
The song has an urgent energy that reflects the need to change
ourselves and the world around us in a positive way, for a more
sustainable and contented future.”

Score: Third smack. Third screaming triumph. As Turn Up
The Volume wrote when debut single Yes Yes Yeah came
on the stereo this hit and run trio combines Bikini Kill‘s rough
outcries, L7‘s detonating gusto, and B-52‘s peppery liveliness.

THE BOO RADLEYS Released Their Bestseller Album ‘WAKE UP!’ 25 Years Ago Today…

British alt pop outfit THE BOO RADLEYS released their third album WAKE UP! today
25 years ago, on 27 March 1995 via Alan McGee‘s notorious label Creation Records. Their greatest commercial success as the LP hit Number One in the UK. Their top ten single Wake Up Boo! was co-responsible for the longplayer’s triumph.

AllMusic wrote: With their third album, The Boo Radleys abandoned the overt noise that obscured the pop sensibilities of their early work and scaled back the ambitions of Giant Steps. The result is Wake Up!, a glorious, brightly colored gem of a pop record… The Boo Radleys were always a band with ambitions. Who: Duo – Tasha and Zack – from Brooklyn, NY, formed in 2016.
Their music draws from dream pop, shoegaze, and post-punk revival

Score: Wow! What a jaw-dropping debut this is! ‘Don’t Wake Up, Wake Up‘ rushes and
races fiercely like if somebody chases you in a nightmare and you have no clue how to escape. Screaming guitars, ablaze percussion and urgent vocals all add to the anxious impact of this bang-up buster. Sturdy stuff! Antsy turbulence!
