Daily electricity to load your batteries

Band: LOW (Duluth, Minnesota)
Who: Longtime dream-pop band with key members
Alan Sparhawk (guitar and vocals) and Mimi Parker (drums,
vocals) who entered the scene back in 1993 / 13 studio
albums so far (including the upcoming new one)
New album: HEY WHAT – out 10th September via Sub Pop
New-single: MORE
The third piece after sharing lead-single
Days Like These. and Disappearing.
I had More on repeat several times, not because it resonates as
a catchy tune for the charts, but to explore the song, to discover
all sonic layers. The wrenched wall-of-synth-sound, the Kate Bush
like vocal timbre of Parker, the mesmerizing mix of capricious sound
and wayward vision of composing, it all puzzles your mind and
triggers you to try and get into the core of their psyche.
The video clip is about exploring “the Sisyphean task of
dismantling structural oppression, through gender biases.”
