PAUL WELLER was born as John William “Paul” Weller, Jr. 60 years ago today, on 25 May 1958 in Woking, Surrey, England. An extraordinary singer/songwriter from his teenage punk days on with The Jam (1972-1982) to his jazzy/soul project The Style Council with Mick Talbot (1983-1989) and his ever lasting solo career.
