“Rock isn’t dead, good songwriting beats all, and raw emotion in a recording is more important than “perfection” says Aaron Archer, a one-man-band and Las Vegas based multi-instrumentalist. I unconditionally endorse that statement. He not only talks the talk but also walks the walk. Proof? His solo debut album SOLIPSISM, released last November.
It was produced on a Fostex 8-track with Archer handling vocals, guitars, bass, drums, keys, and percussion. A collection of heartfelt singer/songwriter’s rock and roll, from post-punk inspired guitar-charged cuts to garage fueled strokes, from crackling Americana to The Strokes electrical approach.
