“Rock isn’t dead, good songwriting beats all, and raw emotion in a recording is more important than “perfection” says Aaron Archer, a one-man-band and Las Vegas based multi-instrumentalist. I unconditionally endorse that statement. He not only talks the talk but also walks the walk. Proof? His solo debut album SOLIPSISM, released last November.
It was produced on a Fostex 8-track with Archer handling vocals, guitars, bass, drums, keys, and percussion. A collection of heartfelt singer/songwriter’s rock and roll, from post-punk inspired guitar-charged cuts to garage fueled strokes, from crackling Americana to The Strokes electrical approach. No special effects. No arty farty production. Just genuine passion and authentic intensity. Raw and honest. Check it all out this way…
