British Indie Rockers ECHOTAPE Have An Effervescent ‘LITTLE ROMANCE’…

Brand new sonic impulses…

25 May 2019

South England‘s indie rockers ECHOTAPE started their musical journey back in 2010.
They already canned a string of singles, EPs, one album titled Wicked Way and played
live all over Europe and enjoyed also a string of gigs in the US.

The quartet just launched their new single LITTLE ROMANCE confirming once again their high-quality songwriting skills. This new flamboyant crackerjack is a towering triumph. Its ongoing ecstatic tonality, effervescent flow, bang-up vocals, and exuberant chorus will elevate your state of mind to a vivid level of blissful ecstasy and will boost your adrenalin’s flow. Rhapsodic score! Turned-on excitement! A heated song The Killers would sell their souls for. Experience the stupendous vibe here…

Hit Single ‘GIRLS TALK’ Written By ELVIS COSTELLO And Performed By DAVE EDMUNDS Released 40 Years Ago…

Knockouts from the past…

25 May 2019

ELVIS COSTELLO gave “in a moment of drunken bravado‘ an early version of a song
he wrote, called GIRLS TALK, to DAVE EDMUNDS who reworked it and released it
as single today 40 years ago, on 25 May 1979. It became a hit in the UK peaking at
#4 on the Singles Chart.

Sometimes it looks rather easy how a song becomes, out of the blue, a commercial triumph. Costello himself issued his own version of the song as a B-side to his cover
of I Can’t Stand For Falling Down. Now, let the girls talk…

Welsh Romantics RED TELEPHONE Share New Sensitive Single ‘I’M ALWAYS THINKING ABOUT YOU’…

Daily fuel to load your sonic batteries…

Welsh daydreamers RED TELEPHONE already got Turn Up The Volume‘s attention with previous amorous singles Victoria Park and Day Off. The trio has another new one coming up, entitled I’M ALWAYS THINKING ABOUT YOU, officially out 28st June.

A song that “captures the disorientation of a new infatuation and delves into the mental anguish and uncertainty that accompanies it.”

Again the combination of compelling melodiousness, richly layered orchestrations – including a Manic Street Preachers like guitar solo – and Declan Andrews‘ gripping voice works pretty remarkable. His reflective vox balances between the moody timber of Peter Perrett, former frontman of new wavish legends The Only Ones and the sensuous high-pitched vocals of Welshman Green Gartside, mastermind of the 70s/80s pop act Scritti Politti. The overall resonance is enthralling. The band’s best score so far! Enjoy the sonic exquisiteness here…

Album: THE COLOUR AND THE SHAPE
Released: May 1997 / Second LP
Why bad artwork?: because since the very first time
I saw that FF cover it made me think – directly – of
those world-famous, yet ugly mirror balls – called,
for obvious reasons the Atomium – we have in our
capital, build for the 1958 Brussels World’s Fair aka Expo 58

Music: it featured two of FF’s best scream along rockers…
