Beguiling act PINERO|SERENE is a London based duo featuring German/Filipino
bass player, Cheryl Pinero and UK vocalist Neeq Serene, “committed to the creation of
dark, atmospheric soundscapes, dream-like experiences, born from the amalgamation of melodic bass lines and melancholic vocal narratives.”

Turn Up The Volume already featured a couple of tracks from the debut EP called
‘DARK MATTER’, which is out now. A press message states that “on the EP the pair craft deeply textured explorations of heartache, longing, dismay, and emotion. Although they’ve delivered a cohesive vision of internal destruction, Dark Matter remains accessible and the
duo has an etched feeling, sentiment, and intensity so deftly into sound that it vibrates the
very soul.”

This is relaxing dream pop music for the twilight hours. Music with a chilling effect, music to get lost in, music that feels like a mind-massage. Tantalizing, seductive, gracious and intimate.
