Dutch squad RATS ON RAFTS have a new, third, longplayer in the pipeline.

‘Excerpts From Chapter 3: The Mind Runs A Net Of Rabbit Paths’ will hit
the streets on 29th January 2021 via Fire Records.

Fire Records about the new LP: “A psyche-fuelled journey into the id punctuated
with rhythmic kabuki modal mood swings, thunderstorms, digital beeps, traffic noise,
and just plain old beautiful cacophonous reverb-drenched sound when needed. The third chapter refers to the last five years that Rats On Rafts have spent creating their “difficult”
third album. Each song spins a yarn; there are plagues, dreams, wind and fire, ‘mythical’ characters, and the search for the secret government warehouse. It’s a musical melodrama: created in isolation – something we all know so well – a worldview shut out from the world.”

And here comes the lead-single. TOKYO MUSIC EXPERIENCE is an electrical punch-sucker driven by hyperkinetic guitars, manic vocals, and a relentless beat sounding like legendary weirdos Devo are back with some crazed firepower. Expect to be totally puzzled after just one spin.
