Back In Town Again – DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979 Unleash New Hammer ‘ONE+ONE’

4 February 2021

Band: DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979
Who: Canadian noise rock duo – Jesse F. Keeler
and Sebastien Grainger from Toronto
Active: 2001–2006, 2011–present

New Album: IS 4 LOVERS

Lead-Single: ONE+ONE

Score: 3 albums in 16 years isn’t what you can call ‘productive’, even Radiohead
was more active. So, the Canadian noiseniks decided to give the world a 4th LP.
But first lead-single ONE+ONE. A sturdy and thunderous steamroller. Smoking
death comeback above 2021!

Grainger about the inspiration for the new hammer: “My wife became pregnant not long after we started working on the song, and after hearing an early version she said, ‘I wish this song was dancier.’ So I went back into the studio and re-worked the drums. As the record was taking shape, every time I would come home from the studio, the baby would start dancing in Eva’s belly. One plus one is three — that’s magic!”

Here comes the lullaby
