Crooner BRYAN FERRY Sends Us ‘LOVE LETTERS’

25 March 2022

Bryan Ferry is back from never being away.

His legendary glam and glitter band Roxy Music just celebrated its 50th anniversary
and will spoil all their fans with Vinyl reissues of their eight studio albums over the course of the coming year. And if Ferry isn’t on tour or isn’t working with other artists he makes sure to have some new music out now and then.

Like with this EP of covers of 4 classics featuring…

Love Letters
A 1945 song written by Victor Young and Edward Heyman
and popularized by many famous singers.

I Just Don’t Know What To Do With Myself
Written by icon Burt Bacharach and lyricist Hal David
and a hit for many, even for The White Stripes).

Fooled Around And Fell In Love
Composed in 1975 by blues guitarist Elvin Bishop
with Mickey Thomas on lead vocals.

The Very Thought Of You
1934 standard written by 1934 by Ray Noble)

The EP titled ‘Love Letters’ lands on 6 May.

Here’s Ferry’s first letter…

A gripping soul version by Ketty Lester from 1962…
