Carlos Augusto Santana Alves was born on 21 July 1947, in Autlán, Jalisco, Mexico.

Happy 75 to one of the greatest guitar players in history, who mixed marathon rock
solos with Latin American jazz vibrations. He canned (only) 7 studio LPs, but released several live albums and compilations, and he’s net done yet touring extensively.
