CAPTAIN WILDCHILD – Canadian Borderline Screamers Have A Real Deafening ‘FANTASY’

Daily electricity to load your batteries

Band: CAPTAIN WILDCHILD
Who: Soul piercing and ear-gnashing
rock ’n roll trio from Hamilton, CA.

New single: FANTASY
From their upcoming debut LP
out on 20th August.

“Our new song focuses on the distractions we’re constantly surrounded with
and how we need to overcome them. With the verses, we wanted the lyrics to
drop the listener into a fictional world of extravagance and splendor to contrast
that with the choruses, where we wanted to tease the listener with the reality
sitting right in front of their eyes.”

TUTV says: Holy bloody holy smoke! These mutta fukkers have four lungs and
use them to SCREAM out very loud. Moshpit time! Bonkers time! Borderline time!

This is how Green Day and all related rock billionaires would rage and blaze if they
were a genuine post-hardcore-punk band. The real clamorous deal is here, folks.
These wild children will drive you nuts.

Turn your stereo to the max and start a revolution from your kitchen. And when
the police knock at your front door to verbalize you for noise disturbance tell them
that you suffer of a real post-lockdown fantasy. Case closed.

Let the Captain do the talking…

YOU ME AT SIX Announce New Album And Shared Detonating Lead Single ‘DEEP CUTS’

New striking strokes

26 july 2022

(Press)

Band: YOU ME AT SIX
Who: Robust rockers from Weybridge, Surrey
Active: 2004-present / 8 studio LPs (new one incl.)

New album: TRUTH DECAY
Out: 2023

Artwork new album

Lead single: DEEP CUTS

Josh Franceschi (frontman): “’Deep Cuts’ is about being on the outside looking in on people in your circle who are going through pain or a bad moment by being with the wrong person. Suffering because they’re holding onto someone or something that they could let go of. Knowing that they would be more than fine on the other side of it, but convincing them of that is easier said than done. Hoping they will eliminate the trauma by moving past it as quick as possible”.

Deep Cuts circles around a beserk riff and a detonative monster of a chorus.

Let’s rumble

Waking Up… EAZY SLEAZY

Works faster than caffeine

Happy 79 to rolling stone in command MICK JAGGER.
He was born Michael Philip Jagger on 26 July 1943
in Dartford, England.

Last year Jagger wrote and shared this heavy hittin’ post-lockdown haymaker titled
EAZY SLEAZY and invited foo fighter Dave Grohl to help him bang up the racket.

Perfect to start the birthday party out loud.

Chrashing In The Name Of – TOM MORELLO Goes Down And Get Ups At RAGTM Concert In Toronto

Two nights ago at the Rage Against The Machine concert in Toronto,
guitarist Tom Morello was unintentionally pushed down by a security
guard while chasing a fan who found, somehow, a way to invade the stage
when the band started their classic concert closer Killing In The Name.

“Hold up! Hold up!” screamed Zack de la Rocha and stopped the performance,
but Morello was back on his feet and on stage in no time, supported by cheers
from the crowd.

Zack then yelled “Don’t try that shit. We’re cool, we love y’all but don’t do that”
before re-starting the blistering finale.

The crashing in the name of‘ happens around the 1-minute mark
below, towards the left of the stage where Morello was situated.

Fuck you, I won’t stay down, brother.

Watch out, Tom, lots of concerts yet to come.

One Live Shot A Day Turns Summer Into A Holiday – Today: The Legendary Gold Lamé Rockers SHA NA NA

25 July 2022

When I was busy zig-zagging on YT this morning I came across clips of these utterly cool, utterly funny, utterly wackos with greasy haircuts (well most of them), who gained fame in NYC from 1969 on as SHA NA NA, with cover versions of 50s hit singles. But it was much more than covering songs.

They were great performance artists who billed themselves as ” from the streets of New York”. They were always dressed for the occasion, sometimes with gold lamé glitter outfits or leather jackets (or both), and weirdo greasy haircuts and ducktails hairdos. They were great harmony singers too and toured the world for years.

Check ’em out, ladies and gents, here on TV in 1973 with their version of a 1957 song called Rama Lama Ding Dong , originally recorded by American doo-wop act The Edsels

This is fab-tastic!

The PEPPERS Are Really Red Hot – Their Second Double Album Of 2022 Hits The Streets In October

Notorious funk-punk-rock celebrities RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS just announced a new double album, coming in October, only six months after Unlimited Love, also a double longplayer, made thier millions of devotess happy last Aptil.

Weird guys. Between 11th LP The Getaway and this year’s Unlimited Love there was
a time gap of six years and now they bomb us with 2 double ones in just 6 months.

Looks like the cover artwork was designed in the 60s for the Summer Of Love

The new one is named Return Of The Dream Canteen
and will be dropped on 14th October via Warner Records.

Press statement: “We went in search of ourselves as the band that we have somehow always been. Just for the fun of it we jammed and learned some old songs. Before long we started the mysterious process of building new songs. A beautiful bit of chemistry meddling that had befriended us hundreds of times along the way. Once we found that slip stream of sound and vision, we just kept mining. With time turned into an elastic waist band of oversized underwear, we had no reason to stop writing and rocking. It felt like a dream. When all was said and done, our moody love for each other and the magic of music had gifted us with more songs than we knew what to do with. Well we figured it out. 2 double albums released back to back. The second of which is easily as meaningful as the first or should that be reversed. ‘Return of the Dream Canteen’ is everything we are and ever dreamed of being. It’s packed. Made with the blood of our hearts, yours truly.”

And Flea and Kiedis broke the news heir way,
on stage, two nights ago in Denver, Colorado

A kooky track, with kooky lyrics.

Here’s a little thing that’s gonna please ya
Just a little town down in Indonesia
Bangkok

Two slanty eyed men lying in bed
One got his Mauser, the other said
Bangkok

Making love the Japanese way
Learned aggressively in Hong Kong
Bangkok

Margaret Trudeau, Jakie O
Madame Nhu and Bridget Bardot
Bangkok
Baby, Bangkok
Yeah, Suki

I’m not living on Chinese rocks
I’m in Bangkok
Yeah, Bangkok, baby

Here’s a revision that’s kind of minor
It’s just a little town down in Indochina
Bangkok
Baby baby
