Turn Up The Volume: From their 2019 debut album Hipsters and Aeroplanes
on I became a vivid fan. Why? It’s Karma It’s Cool have that magic finesse to write
timeless pop melodies and dip them into a melancholic, psychedelic sound of
the 60s/70s with an electrifying retro romanticism.

Layers of classic rock guitars, a tight rhythm section, and airy vocals create
that sepia-colored, nostalgic feel here. Alex Chilton’s Big Star is a fitting reference.
A legendary artist/band that influenced songwriters of pop-ular tunes and still does.
Old Bones is a crystal clear, modern-day example of it.
