Band: LANKUM
Seasoned Irish alt-folk outfit from Dublin.
Track: GO DIG MY GRAVE

From their new, upcoming LP
False Lankrum, out 24 March.

“Our interpretation of the traditional song “Go Dig My Grave” is one that
centers around the emotion of grief – all-consuming, unbearable and absolute.
A visceral physical reaction to something that the body and mind are almost incapable
of processing. The second part of the song is inspired by the Irish tradition of keening
from the Irish caoineadh, a traditional form of lament for the deceased. Regarded by
some as opening up “perilous channels of communication with the dead,” the practice
came under severe censure from the Catholic Church in Ireland from the 17th century on.”

Feel the shivers send down your spine.

Band: GEL
New Jersey hardcore motherrockers.
Track: ATTAINABLE

It’s the lead single from new, upcoming
album Only Constant, out 31 March.

Sami Kaiser (vocalist) about the new LP “I’ve been in recovery for
alcoholism for the past couple years and really taking it seriously. I’ve
learned a lot about myself and how to address negative feelings, and
the album is about trying to let go of those self-destructive tendencies
and embrace change.”

There are not a lot of female hardcore voices
around, and defintely not like Sami Kaiser‘s one.

Press play and go ballistic!
