Daily noise that works faster than any stimulant

Band: VOGUE VILLAINS
Who: A hard-rocking alternative band from Vancouver Island, Canada with a musical foundation planted firmly in catchy melodies and multipart harmonies. Set on making music that feels unique, yet unafraid to wear the boys many influences on their sleeves, this powerhouse of a band has created a sound that is undeniably and unmistakably VV.
New single: FLOATIN’ STONE
VV: “This song is essentially about having an identity crisis. Living life on autopilot and acting on impulse to fulfill needs that you think you have. You know, anything to distract from the hard work you may need to do on yourself to become centered again.
Before finishing, the song comes around to a point of gratefulness which is important to have with a message like this. Because even at your deepest depths and no matter how long the trail of hurt drags out behind you. There will always be opportunities to grow, and start showing up as who you want to be or maybe who you never thought you could be”.
TUTV: After a short wham bam Dave Grohl-like drum intro a jagged guitar riff takes
over, cuts nervously and sharply, and jump-starts this heavy haymaker all the way
through while agonizing vocals augment the edginess of this missile.
Floatin’ Stone is actually a pithy tune powered-up by a mean hard rockin’ machine. References? Muscular Australian noisemakers Wolfmother and stoner rock mavericks Queens Of The Stone Age. Say no more.
Play loud.
