Make-up rock legends NEW YORK DOLLS released their infamous
self-titled debut longplayer 50 years ago today, on 27 July 1973.

They all had a personality crisis and were desperately looking
for a kiss, some pills, a bad girl and a jet boy, and Frankenstein,
who had kidnapped a Vietnamese baby on the subway train.
They were trash.
