Band: COLD WEATHER CAPTAINS
Who: A Toronto-based high-energy rock unit known for their funky and eclectic sound.
The group was originally founded in 2018 as a unique instrumental trio Shortly after the release of their 2021 EP City Limits CWC quickly morphed from laid-back jam band to a fully rounded pack-a-punch machine.

New single: ROYAL PURPLE

Justin Di Donatom (lead vocalis)t: “Royal Purple is about being kind and
unapologetically yourself. When writing the lyrics, I imagined someone being
in a full on royal purple suit, rocking it and disregarding any haters – kind of
like Prince.”

TUTV: Expect a boiling mix of catching classic rock, electrifying funk, metallic
guitar eruptions, a wham bam glam flare-up around the 3-minute mark and
sky-scraping vocals. Royal Purple is a red-hot belter, a riff-racing rollercoaster
that causes a rush of blood to your head when the dynamite chorus hits your
ears. You’d better be in great shape to party like it’s 1999 all over again.
