2. ‘Invisible Hand’ by ††† (CROSSES) (US)

producer-guitarist Shaun Lopez announced their second full length,

Invisible Hand is the first single. A firm banger.

3. ‘Starvation’ by TOTAL CHROMA (Canada)
The solo project of Isku (rob) Katerwol of Wire Spine and Weird Candle.
Lyrically “the song is a fictional narrative about a young toxic relationship
post “honeymoon phase” entering a state of inertia. Both sides are feeling
a sense of starvation for one another, but lack the emotional intelligence
to express their needs and feelings in a meaningful way.”
Sonically it’s a haunting electro booster accompanied
by steady drum hits and echoing vocals.

4. ‘Bang Bang’ by HEADSHRINKERS (UK)
4 indies from the West Midlands in England.
“The song is simply about wanting to enjoy yourself and
to want to forget what is negative in your own world.”
Bang Bang is a riff-manic post-punk cracker with pumping
bass play and agitated vocals. Think Yard Act. Say no more.

5. ‘No Sign Of Life’ by DSM-V (Australia)
Dark-electro-wave duo from down under with their new single of forthcoming
album ‘Life Is Done’, out on September 8th via Third Coming Records. It’s an
irresistibly catchy melody embedded in an ongoing synth-rotating groove.

6. ‘Looped’ by CROSSED WIRES (Canada)
Looped is about playing a scenario over and over in your head, wondering
if everything’s your fault, wondering what’s real and what’s just your brain
playing tricks on you.
It’s a riff-roaring pop-punk ripper that sticks
from the get-go. Brisk riot grrrl stuff.

Steamrolling score.

Grungy and slacker-y piece. Somewhere between Dinosaur Jr.
and Mudhoney. Towering guitars, moody vocals. Top!

10. ‘Daydream’ by MY LO-FI HEART (UK)
A trippy electro-pop tune with an infectious synth vibe.
Sprightly and breezy tone and a playful esprit.
