A tribute album for the late genial rock star, titled
THE POWER OF THE HEART: A LOU REED TRIBUTE
will come out on Record Store Day, April 20.
It’ll be a special edition pressed on Silver Nugget wax and housed in a silver laminated jacket. The booklet features liner notes by compilation producer & former Lou Reed publicist Bill Bentley, featuring photos by Mick Rock and Timothy Greenfield-Sanders

I’M WAITING FOR MY MAN, the 1967 classic that Reed wrote for The Velvet Underground debut longplayer. Check Keef’s bluesy version out below.
