Teenager Cancer Trust is a cancer care and support charity in the UK that helps
to improve the cancer experience of young people aged 13–24. Founded in 1990,
the charity’s key service is providing specialist teenage units in NHS hospitals.
It also trains and funds staff who are teenage cancer specialists.
Yearly, for the 24th time, a week of rock concerts was held at the legendary
Royal Albert Hall in London to raise money for the TCT UK and also for Teen
Cancer America. For 24 years The Who’s Roger Daltrey was the event’s curator,
but this 2024 edition was his last curated one.
Two days ago Pearl Jam‘s Eddie Vedder
was one of the name big-name guests.
He performed a 7-song acoustic set
with some friends and his daughter.
