RAPTUROUS – Scream And Shout ‘REPEAT AFTER ME’ With This Rowdy British Hip Hop Whirlwind

Daily noise that works faster than caffeine

7 May 2024

Band: RAPTUROUS
Who: Kent, UK based five piece genre
defining, alternative Rock/Hip-Hop outfit

New single: REPEAT AFTER ME

“The song was inspired by the old blues style of call & response, we wanted to create something that could be easily sung back to us by the crowd. The song is about being free from anything that is getting you down, be it your job, finances, the world, or the weekend’s football scores. Freedom from misery, that’s the idea.”

TUTV: Holy smoke. If you’re looking for an avid anthem that celebrates freedom, then Repeat After Me is the loud and clear one you can scream out at the top of your lungs.

A nasty bass riff cuts all the way through this cacophonous chant, ablaze guitars clash
and trash, the drummer dictates the slamming beat with non-stop hits, and all over the storming shebang comes a dazzling deluge of sloganesque shouting.

Think Cypress Hill fronted by Zack de la Rocha, rattling like a rapid-fire riot-gun.
Keep on rapping and rolling in the free world, Rapturous.

Wake up, people.
Freedom is for
the taking.
