NEIL YOUNG Archives Are Truly Inexhaustible – A New Collection Of Old Recordings Titled ‘EARLY DAZE’ Lands On June 28

23 May 2024

Over the years NEIL YOUNG spent a lot of time in his attic (must be twice as big as
his huge farm), looking for lost stuff. It resulted in the release of several live albums,
solo or with his long-time Crazy Horse buddies.

Only three weeks ago another one saw the day of light. Actually a double live LP, named F##in’ Up featuring different takes of nine old ones performed with Crazy Horse.

.
And here’s Young back once again with another lost treasure, baptized EARLY DAZE.
This new collection includes the earliest recordings – with Crazy Horse and contributions
of late guitarist Danny Whitten – of several original versions that have not been released before, along with the 7-inch mono mix of Cinnamon Girl that was released in 1970 that includes a guitar outro that wasn’t on the original LP version.

Release date: June 28th

Right now, Young + Crazy Horse are on a tour billed as the Love Earth Tour.
Thanks to Whitechapel Ghost Video, we could enjoy one of the two nights they
played at Forest Hills Stadium in NYC, a week ago. The footage isn’t top quality,
but seeing the living legend still rockin’ in the free world at the age of 78 is quite impressive.
