Omaha‘s dance-punk mavericks THE FAINT are around for a long time now,
actually 30 years. They took off in 1995, named Norman Bailer and included
Bright Eyes‘s Conor Oberst for a while.
The band released 7 albums, with Egowerk as the latest, it came out in 2019.
Time for a couple of deluxe reissues of 1999’s Blank-Wave Arcade and 2004’s Wet
From Birth. Both reissues contain several bonus tracks, live stuff and more and are available from 14th March on. Pre-order info via their website right here.
The deluxe edition of Blank-Wave Arcade contains a reworked version of Worked Up
So Sexual and an unearthed track, named BROKEN, PRIESTS, AND ANALYSTS that appeared originally on a 7” in 1999.
