FIME were the backing band for LA-based indie pop
songstress Jay Som until Covid caused a lockdown.
With time on their hands, the band wrote/recorded/released an album in
2022, titled Sweeter Memory. A poignant psychedelic pop-rock record.

They’re back now with a new single. BETTER HALF OF A DOLLAR is a high-voltage
slice of intense hysteria. At the core of this jagged juggernaut, there’s a hypnotizing
bass riff that sneaks under your skin, the drummer hits his gear with dogged tenacity, agitated guitars fight their way to the front and the vocalist uses his four lungs to go ballistic.
