“The idea came from us all working and touring and writing, just living the day-to-day of being in the industry. Over the last couple years, it’s felt like there’s this overwhelming obsession with things like AI and just… the commercial side of music. So much of it feels soulless now. ”
“Musically, you can definitely hear some of our favourite bands in this one. The riff is a kind of nod to how Queens of the Stone Age work that low string, it gives it loads of drive. There’s a bit of Adam Jones in there too, and a touch of Bad Nerves in the chorus, especially with that major chord landing. We love that stuff.”
TUTV: Holy jeepers! Dead Air operate here like a punked-up bulldozer with a 4-cylinder engine fabricated by Rage Against The Machine. They are alive and kicking really hard.
