It’s 5 years since Scottish synth-pop trio CHVRCHES
have released their 5th album Screen Violence.
But it gave frontwoman Lauren Mayberry the time and space
for her solo debut CD/LP, called Vicious Creature, which came
out in 2024.
The wait is over for the fans.
Here’s the new single ROSES.
Mayberry (frontwoman) “This is the longest break we had ever taken between
albums and when we got together to write new music, we wanted to really push
ourselves and not be retreading ground we’d walked before. I really think we
achieved that. It feels like the most coherent vision we’ve had as a band.
We’re excited to be back.”
Roses is darker, more powerful and
more puissant than we are used to.
