Significant longplayers from yesteryear

The late great songsmith LEONARD COHEN (1934-2016)
released his 10th album TEN NEW SONGS 25 years ago,
on 9 October 2001.
It was co-written with and produced by
American songstress Sharon Robinson.
The record went to No. 4 in Canada, No. 1 in Poland
and Norway, No. 3 in France and only No. 143 in the US.
Rolling Stone said: “Ten New Songs manages to sustain loss’s fragile beauty
like never before and might just be the Cohen’s most exquisite ode yet to the
midnight hour.”
