Now 79 year old RONNIE WOOD isn’t only guitarist for 51 years with
The Rolling Stones, after also playing with 60s idols Small Faces and
the Rod Stewart fronted Faces, but he is also a respected painter.
Hist latest work, paintings of his hero and friend Jimi Hendrix
is now exposed at Handel Hendrix House Museum in London.
Wood: “I was there in The Speakeasy Club, in London’s Soho when he played, and
he sat in my booth, and that’s when I first got to know him properly. Straightaway,
he opened up to me for some strange reason.”
