With Ohio Players THE BLACK KEYS delivered one of the most entertaining albums of they year. That says a lot if I tell you that I was never a big BK fan. It’s a record that makes me happy.
Now, with Halloween a few days away, the duo invited veteran shock rocker
Alice Cooper (perfect choice) for a festive cracker, titled STAY IN YOUR GRAVE.

HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES is the supergroup formed in 2012 by horror-ific
veteran rocker Alice Cooper, actor Johnny Depp, and Aerosmith’s guitar
freak Joe Perry. The line-up changed regulary.
The band name refers to an infamous 70s drinking club for rock stars, named
The Hollywood Vampires, where heroes such as John Lennon, Ringo Starr, Harry
Nilsson and Keith Moon could get drunk 24/7.
This summer HV play festivals again – with founding members Cooper and Depp .
Las month they were at Pink Pop Festival in the Netherlands.
At one point they raped (in my opinion) David Bowie‘s blockbuster
hit Heroes. Awful.

Iconic shock rocker ALICE COOPER (born Vincent Damon Furnier 75 years ago in Detroit) has no intention to retire. He just announced his 22th LP. It’s titled ROAD and will make
his fans happy on August 25.
Cooper: “For ‘Road’, I wanted the band to be involved in the foundation of all the songs. “I only see these guys when we’re on the road. So, I wanted them to be as tight as they are for the show but on all new material. When you have a band this good, I believe in showing it off, and this is my way of doing so.”

This day 50 years ago, on 12 August 1972, the Michigan-born freak creep
ALICE COOPER topped the UK Singles Chart with SCHOOL’S OUT.
Vincent Damon Furnier (his real name) claimed that the song was inspired
by responding to the question: “What’s the greatest three minutes of your life?”
with the following two answers. One: “Christmas morning”. Two: “The last
three minutes of the last day of school.” In America the single hit #7.

Vincent Damon Furnier aka ALICE COOPER was born on 4 February 1948 in Detroit, Michigan. Happy 74 to the bombastic rocker. As a 16-year old he started to play in some bands, like The Spiders and Nazz. As Todd Rundgren’s band also called Nazz, Cooper and his henchmen came up with another name, Alice Cooper (it was the group’s name at first).
Between 1969 and today Alice canned 28 studio LPs, with Detroit Stories, released
last year, as the most recent one. The shock-rocker is still alive and kicking… and paranormal.
