Band: SMITT E. SMITTY & THE FEZZTONES
Who: Kooky Boston-based glam and glitter
rock notet.

Track: BIG ASS CAR AMERICAN CAR
Newest single. Actually, a cover of a song
by the late Boston musician Trick Wallace.

SES: “I knew all The Fezztones would take ‘Big Ass American Car’ to the next level. They absolutely did, and then some. This song not only leaps out of your speakers, headphones,
or earbuds… but LIVE? Holy cannoli! This song is now one of our best moments on stage.
Yeah… I think Sir Patrick of The Wallace would approve.”

TUTV: Smitty and his Fezztones nail it once again. This time with a wham bloody
wham bam banger, motorized by 9 engines. This titanic tune resonates like a
Formula One race car. Loud, overpowering and ablast.

American cars? Probably the only reason you can love America for, these days.
Whatever, get behind the wheel and foot on the gas pedal. Fast and furious.

Flag down.
Go! Go!

LAMBRINI GIRLS Attack The ‘CULT OF CELEBRITY’ On Their New Strenuous Single

Daily electricity to load tour batteries

1 April 2026

Photo by Turn Up The Volume – Lille, France

LAMBRINI GIRLS, the two razorblade riot girrrrlzz – vox/guitarist Phoebe Lunny and bassist Lilly Macieira – from Brighton (UK) with an insatiable appetite for mass moshpits rose to fame like a comet in the past few years.

Following last year’s riot-punk-gun debut LP WHO LET THE DOGS OUT
they went from dusty clubs to big venues, all over the Western world.

This year they already conquered Australia with a series of
sold-out shows and fiery frenzy in North America is coming up

Perfect time for a new single, titled CULT OF CELEBRITY

LG: “The age old tale of selling your soul to the devil has been fabled accounts of high society for years. However, due to recent events come to light, it turns out that the elite are very much actually the devil incarnate, baby eating, pedos. What a fucking surprise! They had no souls to sell in the first place.”

The message is loud and clear.

Fuck the rich!
Fuck the upper-class!
Fuck the establisment!

Say hello to the devil.

PULP’s JARVIS COCKER Has A Lot To Say On Telephone Lullaby ‘COLD CALL ON THE HOTLINE’

Reveries for the laziest day of the week

29 March 2026

English Britpop survivors PULP started to
do big reunion shows some time ago.

And last year they surprised us with a new album,
named More, their 8th and first in 24 years. Followed,
yes, by a handful of big shows.

Last fall, the band shared an optimum cover of
Johnny Cash’s 2002 gem The Man Comes Around.

It’s now released as a single with two new songs as B-sides.
Marrying For Love and Cold Call On The Hot Line.

The latter drew my attention instantly. It’s a retro-sounding lullaby with
Cocker leaving bizarre messages on somebody’s telephone voicemail.

Listen here.

JULEZ AND THE ROLLERZ – Spiraling L.A. Amazons Unfold Fervid Rocker ‘I DON’T KNOW’

Daily electricity to load your batteries

27 March 2026

Band: JULEZ AND THE ROLLERZ
Who: 4 flashy Amazons from Los Angeles. They create a sound that
marries the intensity of stadium rock with the intimacy of a tight-knit
sisterhood.

Track: I DON’T KNOW
Lead single from their upcoming debut LP, called
Dirty Little Rock ‘N’ Roller. It’s out on June 26th.
Pre-order info here

Jules Batterman (vocalist/guitarist): “Turning 30 made me confront the fact that
I’ve outgrown parts of myself. I Don’t Know You started as a song about looking back
at my younger self and thinking, ‘Who is she?’ It’s also about how time shapes
EVERYTHING.

Sometimes you lose significant people in your life, sometimes you lose who you once were. We are forever changing, as are the people around us, and while scary, it’s also beautiful to think about. I’m now 31, married, still unsure of what I want out of life, and I’m hoping my past self is still proud of the path I’m on now.”

TUTV: Fervid fun throughout. I Don’t Know is a stimulating sonic injection that
accelerates your bloodstream from the kick-off, irresistibly. Layers of fanatical
guitars backed by an unwavering drum/bass tandem, a firework chorus, and a
vocal tour de force match up for a whisked crackerjack. Spiraling girl power.

When in self-doubt, it’s good to know that at the end of the rock ‘n’ roll
tunnel there’s always a Julez And The Rollerz light that shines.

JESUS THE DINOSAUR – Boston’s Power-Folk Indies Deliver Fiery Stomper ‘SWEET NOTHING’

Daily electricity to load your batteries

20 March 2026

📸 Miryam Weiss and J Kimball

Band: JESUS THE DINOSAUR (great name)
Who: Folk-rock indies from Boston, MA.

Track: SWEET NOTHING
Piece from their upcoming debut LP, titled
‘Nothing To The Branches’, out on May 15th.

Press info: “‘Sweet Nothing‘ showcases the band’s ease in relaying storytelling
emotions through music, conveying a confessional tone that tumbles and turns
like revealed entries from a diary. We hope you dig it as much as we do.”

Tommy Ng (vocals, acoustic guitar): “For me personally, I’m describing what it feels
like to be in a social setting while being maxed out on my social meter. I have a big people-pleasing problem, so I’ll keep pushing through social interactions even when I have nothing left to give, so what comes out of my mouth at that point is usually just that: filler, forced smiles, canned responses, bullshit. Just enough to pass as pleasing and agreeable to everyone.”

TUTV: Sweet Nothing moves and grooves, rattles and rocks, all at the same time.
It’s one of those thrilling tunes that open your ears on the spot. Think avid folk
celebs Mumford & Sons with a punky zing.

The deliriously rhythmic progression, sharp-edged vocals, evolving beat, and
feverish chorus cause a fiery-flavoured stomper. Very tasteful. Hail Jesus!

“All the things we say not to say anything
It’s not all bad, the sweet nothings
But my weak teeth are rotting
and I can’t stop pulling this candy rope from out of my throat
This party trick was good the first time but now I’m choking

All Tour Dates HERE.

To warm us-and-themselves up, they dropped
a new track/single, named HOUSE OF I.

Greg Dulli (singer/songwriter): “Laid this one down in New Orleans
last summer. Was looking for an uptempo banger and feel like we
found one here.”

An uptempo banger it is, Mr. Dulli.
It sounds like it’s gonna be a wild

LIME GARDEN – British Guitar Pop Amazons Drop Another Electric Earworm With ‘DOWNTOWN LOVER”

Daily electricity to load your batteries

18 March 2026

📸: @sal_redpath

Band: LIME GARDEN
Who: 4 guitar pop Amazons from
Brighton(UK) on their way to stardom.

Track: DOWNTOWN LOVER
Brand new, 4th shared piece from their upcoming,
2nd album named Maybe Not Tonight. It’ll land on
April 10th.

Chloe Howard (vocalist/guitarist): “Downtown lover came from three chords and
my need to investigate my regular avoidant behaviour within romantic relationships.
I saw the phrase ‘downtown love’ in an article online talking about some peoples
constant need for something new or attention in general when dating.

Through recognising this in myself and in an attempt to try and understand why
I act the way I do, I threw this one out in a matter of minutes on my acoustic guitar.”

Another buzzing and fuzzing earworm
to play out loud wherever you are allowed
to do so without getting the police on your
back.
