13 May 2026

Band: BUSTIÉ
Who: A dark electro project based in NYC, formed by primary artist Angelika Padilla,
aka Pogo Pope. Heavily influenced by ‘80s freestyle/electro, UK punk, and Janet Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation 1814, Bustié crafts socio-political conscious dance music that they coin “Anarcho Body Music.

With lyrical content touching on issues such as LGBTQ+ Rights, transgender empowerment and livelihood, and the freedoms of BIPOC, transgender artist Angelika Padilla calls forth action and attention to these subjects in her songs.

Track: PERIMETERS OF LOVE
New piece from their upcoming 2nd album. It’s named Throb (a nod to Janet Jackson’s sweltering dance track Throb) and will land on May 22nd. Tracklist/pre-order info here.

TUTV: Theatrical electro waves for addicted nightclubbers. Dark-synth-wave flashes,
bassy booms and darkling Depeche Mode echoes for acid house aficionados.

Perimeters Of Love, juiced with longing vocals, has the magnetism to attract eager
bodies to shadowy dancefloors in underground discos where hunted minorities can unleash their demons. Techno-tastic.

LYRICS

Sing to me your lewd desires,
Untamed, and so crude
A flame that burns so bright,
Howling in the moon
Surrender under these vows,
To unite as one with me
And If, the sun goes out,
I’ll be, light you need

If you die right now,
My soul you will own
Our lips hold us tight,
Till we’re reborn
We will meet again, another day
Our Love to bloom will never end
