THE CHRONICLES OF MANIMAL AND SAMARA – Artists In Sound And Vision

For your eyes

8 April 2022

Early this month sound-and-poetry exploring duo
THE CHRONICLES OF MANIMAL AND SAMARA

dropped another rad piece from their upcoming
sophomore LP Trust No Leaders.

Turn Up The Volume wrote about THE CHEFS SONG : “Another astounding
hellraiser swinging your mind from left to right and back, from Samara‘s sort
of vocal broadcasting performance to Manimal‘s death metal snarls and back.
130 seconds of intimidating thunder-and-lighting brouhaha. A merciless
brainbreaker.”

And here’s the razzle-dazzle video. Another visual
tour de force by two formidable sound and vision artists…

Let’s cook…

Now Watching -The Early Years Of BOB DYLAN In A Series Of Dreams

For our eyes

I was thinking of a series of dreams
Where nothing comes up to the top.
Everything stays down where it’s wounded
And comes to a permanent stop.

The song was planned to be on his 1989 praised album Oh Mercy, but the wayward
mister Zimmerman dropped it, before the release, for unknown reasons. Eventually,
this diamond ended up on The Bootleg Series Volumes 1–3.

Amyl loses control and almost her head on this fucktastic live

Who’s That Girl? Italian Popsters THE BANKROBBER Drop Video For Newest Single ‘LEASH DIED (SHOULDN’T CRY)’

For your ears and eyes

11 January 2022

Band: THE BANKROBBER
Who: Italian alt-pop band led by
siblings Giacomo and Maddalena Oberti

The tandem revealed their newest single LEASH DIED (SHOULDN’T CRY)
last month. A first taster from their forthcoming, second, album titled
Lighters and Lovers

Turn Up The Volume wrote: The Italian band follows their intimate and tender
ballad Carry Me On with this new emotive reflection. But this shadowy dream is
more upbeat and lively although with a dark twist when a distorted ghost-like
voice takes over on the chorus. I’m pretty sure Tame Impala will like this.

As usual The Bankrobber visualize their songs with eye-catching videos.
Here’s the colors-filled clip for the new one, starring a young enigmatic
beauty. Eurythmics‘s Annie Lennox would sing ‘Who’s That Girl?‘.

Have a look, ladies and gents…
