But first and foremost the lead single BIG BLACK X

Exene Cervenka: “X is a great band name; also a bad idea sometimes when it gets lost in print or on the marquee. Gotta have a sense of humor. We all did in the early days. Los Angeles was a carnival of weirdness back then, with left over traces of silent movie stars, long haired hippies, bikers, and brand new self-defined punks doing anything we wanted. When we started touring the country we found like-minded people everywhere, and somehow they all found us. Even if the X was lost on the old marquee.”

X celebrate themselves with this sassy steamroller.
They really do the good punk times roll again.

NEIL YOUNG Quits X – Twitter

20 November 2023

NEIL YOUNG posted this message on his website: “We are stopping all use of X that
we can control. For reasons that should be obvious to the richest man on Earth, we are taking this action against his company.”
An image of Musk with the text “Teslas should fly flags of love not hate” was inserted in the post, along with this statement by Young.

“For our many Palestinian friends and our many Jewish friends, we do need to start over
in the present and release our terrible connections to the past. As bad as they are, they need to be forgotten so we can be free to move on in life together, all humanity, focused on saving our planet for future generations of all people.”

Last weekend big corporate advertisers such as Disney, Apple, Paramount and LionsgateFlee stopped their marketing campaigns on X (formerly twitter) following owner Elon Musk’s antisemitic abuse on his social media platform.

NIRVANA Fronted By Charismatic Teen Spirit VIOLET GROHL On American TV

Nirvana comeback? Well if two of the original members – Dave Grohl
and Krist Novoselic – get together to play again, it’s a 2/3 reunion, right?

What happened? Dave and his utterly charismatic daughter Violet,
on vocals, shared their droning cover of Nausea, a 1980 cracker by L.A.
punk legends X, a week ago.

Then they got invited by the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show to play that steamy stunner.
So Dave asked old Nirvana pal Krist Novoselic to join him, along with an occasional
Foo Fighters collaborator, former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo and producer
Greg Kurstin on organ. But the sparkling star of the night was Violet Grohl.

Only 15 years old with a nevermind rock-out teen spirit.

Legendary L.A. Punks X Release New Missile After 34 Years – Here’s New Single ‘DELTA 88 NIGHTMARE’…

New sonic impulses

15 October 2019

Los Angeles infamous punk 4-piece X started their turbulent career in 1977 and when
the city of angels’ underground scene was turning toward hardcore, they were nasty
and fast enough to jump on the bandwagon marking their own stamp on it. But the
band also made room for their own bizarre approach of country, rockabilly, and beat-poetry senselessness.

After a couple of break-ups and several reunions with changing line-ups they’re now back with their first new music in 34 years. Yep, they just dropped new chainsaw single ‘DELTA 88 NIGHTMARE’. A supersonic missile with original members Exene Cervenka and John Doe racing vocally as if they’re chased by something real evil. Check their red-hot blazing nightmare right here…

GARBAGE Shares New Song ‘DESTROYING ANGELS’ Written With Legendary L.A. Band X…

New sonic impulses

5 January 2019

GARBAGE just shared, digitally, a song called DESTROYING ANGELS co-written with
Exene Cervenka and John Doe of legendary Los Angeles band X and was released first exclusively on 3000 vinyl copies for ‘Record Store Day: Black Friday‘ last November. It’s
a heartrending song described by Garbage as a murder ballad. The new single’s B-side
is a glowing and gracious cover of David Bowie’s ‘Starman’, taken from a Garbage radio broadcast early last year. Listen to both alluring little pearls right here…
