Back in 1982 SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES, with The Cure‘s Robert Smith as temporary member, covered a traditional French Christmas carol called ‘I’l Est Né Divin Enfant‘ (‘He is born, the divine child’) which was published for the first time in 1862 by the organist of the Cathedral of Saint-Dié-des-Vosges. It was released as the B-side on the single ‘Melt‘, a great track from their excellent A Kiss In The Dreamhouse. Siouxsie in French, pretty special…
