Dublin born singer/songwriter SINEAD O’CONNOR‘s second, breakthrough album ‘I DO NOT WANT WHAT I HAVEN’T GOT’ hit the top spot of the UK albums chart 29 years ago, on 24 March 1990. Her cover of the Prince written ballad ‘NOTHING COMPARES 2 U’ was released as the second single off the LP and made O’Connor a superstar.
