LOLLAPALOOZA is one of the biggest American Festivals Parties ever. A four
day alternative extravaganza feast in Chicago. It was Perry Farrell who founded, mentored and started it in 1991 as a farewell concert for his band JANE’S ADDICTION.
The cancellation of this year’s edition due to the evil coronavirus was announced in June.
But it’s on anyway, as a livestream event since Thursday July 30.
Over 150 acts will perform over four days: Paul McCartney, Metallica, The Cure, OutKast,
LCD Soundsystem, Arcade Fire, Lorde, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Tyler the Creator, Run the Jewels, ASAP Rocky, Chance the Rapper, Tenacious D, Cypress Hill, Jane’s Addiction, Alabama Shakes, Tove Lo, Portugal. the Man, Kehlani, LL Cool J, Princess Nokia, Polo G, and more. Also a David Bowie tribute is planned.
For this special occasion Perry Farrell brought Jane’s Addiction back together
(he will do the same with his other band Porno For Pyros). Watch them perform
touching ballad I Would For You (from a 1987 Live Album)
