Who: An American Shoegaze band from Portland, Maine formed in 2014.
The members are all lifetime vets of the indie music scene and have played
in other bands.

Info: The LP was two years in the making. It’s their most accomplished album yet,
yours with affection and sorrow is dedicated to the memory of frontwoman Lynda Mandolyn‘s friend and mentor Christopher Girard.
Turn Up The Volume hears: Amplified shoegaze waves that draw your aural attention from start to finish. Glimmering guitars, multi-layered reverberations, mournful vocals
and heavy-hearted melodies. You can feel the cathartic emotions, you can feel affection and sorrow. The fuzziness of My Bloody Valentine and the head-in-the-clouds sensitivity of early Slowdive come to mind. Crystal Canyon will be on your headphones for some time. This album is an out-and-out accomplishment.
