PEARLS & BONES Rant-Roar-Rap And Ramble On New Album ‘COOL UNCLES’

14 June 2021

Who: An alternative hip-hop band based out of Toronto and Montreal.
The trio write and perform music inspired by discordant influences, from
metalcore and PC music to backpack rap and pop-punk. Since forming in
2012, the band has released five EPs and two full-length albums.

New album: COOL UNCLES
A two-year period of technical
and aesthetic development.
Released: 28 May 2021

Focus track: Sawed in Half
Originally inspired by the movie Kill Bill and the contrast of Uma Thurman
spraying viscera and pulling out eyeballs paired with a psychedelic colour scheme.

Turn Up The Volume about Cool Uncles: Time to fight for your right to rap, to hip-hop,
to release your dirty demons. Pearls & Bones move and engroove with the sharp-cutting-and-explicit riot-gun verbality of Public Enemy and the sassy spirit of Ice-T. Their rambling rants make your head spin like a carousel out of control, their toxic tantrums make you want to go out and kick some scumbags up their ass. Feels good, right? You betcha.
