New striking strokes

Guitar hero NILS LOFGREN (born in Chicago 71 years ago) made a big name
for himself by playing/recording/performing with giants Neil Young and Bruce
Springsteen but also with his solo work.

He has just announced a new solo one, baptized
MOUNTAINS. Out on 21 July. Pre-order info here.

The first single AIN’T THE TRUTH ENOUGH. It was written by Lofgren
“in the wake of the January 6th insurrection and “reckons with the ways that
misinformation and demagoguery can tear families apart and silo us in our
own realities.”

He invited Ringo Starr to play drums.

Ain’t The Truth Enough is a classic reflective rock song with a country feel with
nostalgic synths, gospel-like backing vocals and, of course, Lofgren‘s affecting
Americana voice.
