Eye-catching album artwork from the past

Singular voice and songwriter TOM WAITS (now aged 73) released his
outstanding 8th LP, titled SWORDFISHTROMBONES 40 years ago, in 1983.

AllMusic said: “Artistically, Swordfishtrombones marked an evolution of which Waits had not seemed capable (though there were hints of this sound on his last two Asylum albums), and in career terms it reinvented him.” Score: 5/5.

Artwork: A photograph by Michael E. Rush showing Waits with Angelo Rossitto (1908-1991) an American actor and voice artist who had dwarfism (2’11” / 89 cm) tall, and was often billed as Little Angie or Moe and Lee Kolima (1920-1995), also an actor who started his film career after being a professional wrestler in the 50s.

Kolima also appeared on Bob Dylan‘s album The Basement Tapes.
