Artist: CHARLIE GRADON
Who: Singer/songwriter, originally from the old English county of Essex,
he moved to Australia when he was twelve. He meticulously crafts introspective
indie pop that both holds and shakes you at the same time. Citing influences such
as Radiohead, Bob Dylan, Daniel Johnston and Mac DeMarco. His sprawling, lyrical
songs are confessional and complex. So far he released 2 EPs.

New single: YOUR MESS

Gradon: It’s about inexcusable mistakes. It’s about spiralling, it’s about
running from your problems. But most of all it’s about the inherent goodness
within all of us. You got a lot of love in your heart.

TUTV: Your Mess starts gently with an acoustic guitar riff accompanied by
a heartbeat-like drum beat and some sparkling electricity. Slowly but surely
this scintillating musing catches fire when Gradon‘s voice reaches for the sky,
climaxing every time with goosebumps on the rose-coloured ‘you got a lot of
love in your heart’ chorus. Vocal grandeur, mellifluous orchestration and
encouraging
lyrics.
