Who: Robust retro rockers out of Brooklyn, New York
fronted by Rosie Rebel, producing high-energy sing-along
alt/power punk with pop hooks and indie grit.
New track: SOMETHING TO FIGHT FOR
It’s the first single off their, forthcoming 5th album, named
Last Words. It lands on June 21. Pre-order info here.
It’s about their dog who suffered a spinal stroke while on tour which paralyzed
him so badly that he didn’t want to live anymore. He went into the bushes to die
and gave them a look like he was never coming out. This song is about the fight
for his life.
TUTV: As we experienced before Typhoid Rosie always storm full steam ahead from the kick-off until the very last rollicking riff. This punked-up, harmonious chant with its sickly sticky chorus triggers your best zigzagging moves. Expect 122 seconds of afire party fuel peppered with Rosie Rebel‘s combative rawk’ n roll vocality and vociferous pizzaz. Ace!
A striking tribute for their beloved dog of six years and tour
companion, Canaan, who now rocks his tail off, up there in
the sky.
“We’re not gonna leave you in this shithole town!
Get in the car, let’s go!”
