Singer-songwriter/guitarist FORREST RICHARD ‘DICKEY’ BETTS has passed away at 80. He’s best known as co-founder along with Gregg and Duane Allman, back in 1969, of the legendary Florida group ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND.
The news came in a couple of hours ago via his Instagram account.
The band’s live LP At Filmore East from 1971 still is lauded as a classic.
