Washington‘s longtime rollin’ indie-pop-punk stars SLEATER-KINNEY
who started their journey (with 3 members) back in 1994, went on a
break in 2006, reloaded their engines in 2014, became a duo – Carrie
Brownstein and Corin Tucker – released their new, 10th LP, baptized
Little Rope last January. Probably their best to my sensitive ears.

They’re on the road now and a couple of days ago they shared a remix of CRUSADER one of the album’s highlights. New Orleans‘ spectacular act SPECIAL INTEREST turned the track into a pumping dance floor knockout. Why not remixing the whole album, ladies?

How do I know that Special Interest is a spectacular act? Well, about a week
ago I saw/heard the red-hot steaming 4-piece for the very first time. In was in
Brussels at a mini indie indoor festival.

They just blew me and the whole out-of-their-fucking minds crowd away. Utterly charismatic front Amazon Alli Logout screamed her 4 lungs out non-stop, and she
drew all the ears-eyes attention of the venue like a spellbinding magnet while the
techno-punk beats challenged the roof’s resilience and the place turned into an overheated sauna.
