Band: SHOWER CURTAIN
Who: Four-piece NYC-based band led by
Brazilian-American artist Victoria Winter.

Single: WISH U WELL
From their upcoming debut album ‘from a wishing well’,
out on October 18th via

Victoria Winter (bandleader): “‘wish u well’ is about the feeling of having the rug swept from underneath you. In a lot of ways, I think this song is a lot of what my teenage self wished the project could create. That vision has long changed and I am definitely aware of this song not having the more shoegaze and heavier grunge elements that represent the project’s new phase and is more similar to the old phase of Shower Curtain.”

TUTV: Guitar-pop at its dreamiest best. Infectiously melodic and electrically sparkling
with vocals floating all over it. Makes you want to stroll jauntily in the streets and pretend like if reality is cancelled for a while. Think of mellow The Breeders and/or The Cranberries moments. Shower Curtain wish u well indeed.

LYRICS

Thought you were just dancing now, I can’t unsee it .
I thought you wished me well, I thought you wished me well.
Take it back whenever, left me in the dark.

I thought you wished me well.

Pack your clothes I’m leaving, on the phone I’m waiting
Thought you were my favourite, now I can’t unsee it

Wish u well

All about yourself, over again
I thought you wished me well

Pack your clothes I’m leaving, on the phone I’m waiting,
Thought you were my favourite, now I can’t unsee it
Trust the steps I’m taking, reach out for assistance

WISH U WELL
