These sharp-cutting riot grrrls – vox/guitarist Phoebe Lunny and bassist Lilly Macieira – are coming up faster than an out-of-control comet. Only April last year the lambrinis played in a bar in Belgium for 30 people (I was there) but this summer they turned up the heat at the iconic Glastonbury Festivalin the UK, and invaded the US for the first time.

Last year, the plain-spoken feminist Brighton warriors released their cooking 6-track EP You’re Welcome, followed this year by two new eruptions God’s Country and Body Of Mine. Make no mistake, the grrrlz are here to stay.
