Last April, blues rock tandem THE BLACK KEYS
released their 12th album, called Ohio Players.
One of the best longplayers of 2024. The first BK’s
one that I still play frequently after it came out.
They just announced a deluxe edition (take the money and run, everybody does it).
It’s named OHIO PLAYERS – TROPHY EDITION and comes in a 2 LP set in a gatefold
jacket with an alternate cover and new sequencing. It features 18 tracks, including
4 previously unreleased ones, and will land on November 15. More info here.
Along with the news comes a new piece, titled MI TORMENTA featuring
a singer-songwriter, with Mexican roots, DannyLux. Other special guests
on the new Edition, include Alice Cooper and Beck.
