Band: THE CHRONICLES OF MANIMAL AND SAMARA
Who: London-based DIY duo – Daphne Ang (Singapore) and Andrea Papi (Italy)
that fills a gap in music by bringing literature, art, and history together into a
space where rock and metal meet electronica. They released two albums so far.

New track: WAVES
New taster from their upcoming,
3rd LP ‘Origins’. Pre-order info here.

“Origins is about our personal experience of mysteries, rituals, true friendships, bad mentors, addiction, and death. This album is deeply personal, and is written from the heart. We dedicate it to the people who are still here, and for those we have lost. You’ll find many unexpected twists and turns throughout the album. Such is the chaos and unpredictability of life.”

Album artwork

“This song is about the unpredictability of life, and how quickly we
can transition from safety and comfort to peril without noticing.”

TUTV: As said before, on the occasion of the 4 previous singles, TCOMAS are exploring other musical and lyrical directions as we are used to from this creative duo. With Waves they take us on a guitar/synth layered and slowly progressing musing with Daphne Ang‘s enthralling voice creating a ghostly atmosphere.

But somewhere in the middle Andrea Papi opens the Gates of Real Life with a metallic brutality and ominous growling. From there on a mind-boggling roller coaster leads
you to a ruthless finale. Hope and despair, crashing into each other. Helter-skelter!
