In an interview with Clash the band said: “We’re proud to be Irish and it’s the first time in a long time that Irish people are proud of their heritage and culture. It’s great to see that we can find common ground now. Of course, with KNEECAP and Fontaines – we’re not that, we’re awful softies. But it’s a great time to show what we’ve got.”
The trio played several prestigious shows in their home country and the UK this past year. For fans who couldn’t be there and for those who experienced their euphoric swagger at one or more of those shows and want to relive it, the band released the Live In Dublin album last summer.

And to end their triumphant year Kingfisher dropped a brand-new
track/single, called BET BEAUTY. A 5-star anthemic gem. Hands down.
“’Bet On Beauty’ is about redemption. You’re gonna mess up continuously. No one ever gets it right all the time. The main thing is that you aim up despite being a complete moron. I’m just thankful we’re all morons.”
