Skin return for a busy 2025. New music and a Euro/UK tour.
AN ARTIST IS AN ARTIST is their first single in 3 years and according to
a press message “the surprising first taste of what’s to come from the band
in 2025”.
The song was produced by David Sitek, who reportedly helped
Skunk step out of their comfort zone this time around.
Skin: “His name seemed to be on a lot of records that we liked. But none of the records sounded the same. The records all sounded fresh, but mainly the artists all sounded like themselves.”
An Artist Is An Artist is an instant stunner pushed by a mind-blowing speed-groove,
Skin‘s hyperactive rapping, a paranoid saxophone and a flabbergasting chorus. Not
